This parody law-firm commercial—set in Miami’s nightlife-infused art world—uses

humor and legal-advertisement tropes to critique cultural excess, escapism, and the blurred boundaries between art, entertainment, and vice. Framed as a fictional injury-law ad, the work exposes the absurd “hazards” of gallery culture: performative networking, VIP spaces, overindulgent openings, and the chaotic social ecosystems

surrounding Art Basel.

Behind its comedic tone, the piece reflects on how artists and cultural workers adapt

within environments shaped by nightlife, social pressure, and survival through social

performance. The pseudo-legal framework highlights the contradictions of a scene

where professionalism, partying, ambition, and vulnerability constantly intersect.
